  4. Configure the schedule:
    • Service Type: Select from common services (Oil Change, Brake Pads, Tire Rotation, etc.) or create a custom service
    • Mileage Interval: Toggle on and enter miles between services (e.g., every 10,000 miles)
    • Time Interval: Toggle on and enter months between services (e.g., every 12 months)
    • Last Service: Toggle on to record when the service was last performed (date and mileage)
    • Notes: Add any relevant notes (oil specification, part numbers, etc.)
  5. Tap “Save” to create the schedule

On Mac

  2. Select your vehicle from the horizontal selector
  3. Click “Add Schedule” from the toolbar
  4. Configure the schedule with service type, intervals, and last service information
  5. Click “Save”

Syncing to Apple Reminders

  1. Find the schedule you want to be reminded about
  2. Tap/click the reminder icon (bell) or select “Add to Reminders” from the schedule’s action menu
  3. Grant permission if prompted — Rennch needs Reminders access to create reminder items
  4. Confirmation: A reminder is created in your default Reminders list with:
    • Vehicle name and service type in the title
    • Due date based on your schedule
    • Deep link to open Rennch directly to the schedule
    • Priority based on service status (overdue = high priority)

Syncing to Apple Calendar

  1. Find the schedule you want as a calendar event
  2. Tap/click the calendar icon or select “Add to Calendar” from the action menu
  3. Grant permission if prompted — Rennch needs Calendar access
  4. Confirmation: A calendar event is created with:
    • 1-hour duration on the scheduled service date
    • Vehicle and service details in the event notes
    • URL link to open Rennch

Tips

  • Dual intervals work together: If you set both mileage and time intervals, the schedule shows “due” when either threshold is reached first
  • VIN decoding populates intervals: When you decode a VIN, Rennch automatically creates schedules with manufacturer-recommended intervals for your specific vehicle
  • Update after service: When you log a service, Rennch automatically updates the corresponding schedule’s “last service” date and mileage
  • Permission troubleshooting: If reminders don’t create, check Settings > Privacy & Security > Reminders and ensure Rennch has access
